BACKGROUND INFORMATIION:
On Thursday, November 24, a fire broke out at a high rise apartment building in the city of Urumqi in China's Xinjiang province.  The four million residents of Urumqi have been under lockdown for 100 days.  Social media videos of the residents locked inside screaming for help went viral with the screams went dead after awhile.  Residents reported that apartment doors were sealed and the building gate had bars.  Dozens were burnt alive although government reported 10 dead.  Protests are shown at many cities around China including Shanghai where it was the first city under almost 2 months of lockdown.  There have been calls for China's Xi Jinping to step down.
